The Northern Rivers Caravan Club Incorporated was formed in 2001.   To become a member, you must own a full, a pop-top, a wind up or “A” frame caravan and be over 18 years of age.   We have excluded motor homes, tent camper trailers and camper vans from membership.  Current membership is made up of mostly mature couples.

The Club has rallies once a month usually on the second full weekend.  Members, on a roster basis choose and organise venues.  They can be at caravan parks, showgrounds, scout camps or bush locations; it depends on the individual organisers.  Activities over the weekend can include games, day trips, campfires, sing-a-longs, dining out and communal meals.  There is a State Rally once a year in March and National Rally every 3 years for 10 days over the New Year period, which some members choose to attend.

Prospective members are invited to attend three rallies in a twelve month period.  By your third visit you would have observed the trends and traditions of the Club’s activities and, if you wish, can make an application for membership which is submitted to the Management Committee for approval. On acceptance, a joining fee of $10 per person (payable once only) along with the annual fee of $20 per person is payable.  The annual fee falls due in July each year and is on a pro-rata basis commencing from date of first visit as member. 
To retain membership it is necessary to attend four (4) rallies in a financial year, with mitigating circumstances taken into account by the committee.
